About Edward T. Rogowsky

Edward T. Rogowsky assumed responsibility as Director of the CUNY Internship Program in Government and Public Affairs in 1995. Since 1992, he also served as City-Editor of CUNY TV and host of MetroView, CUNY TV's weekly discussion program of New York City public affairs and cultural issues. Edward T. Rogowsky was Professor Emeritus of Political Science, Brooklyn College, CUNY. He served as director of the Brooklyn College Graduate Center for Worker Education, New York City from 1989 to 1995. The Internship

This semester long internship begins in January. The intern will serve at a New York City agency (to be announced) for 10-15 hours per week for the duration of the internship.

Application Procedures

Eligible applicants must carry a 3.0 GPA and have completed a minimum of 60 credits by the time of the application. Interested students should submit a resume with cover letter expressing their interest in and qualifications for this internship, along with two letters of recommendation. Applicants must forward an official transcript from their college’s registrar office directly to The Edward T. Rogowsky Internship Program. The deadline for applications is December 1.



KEY POINTS:

Undergrad/graduate students must be currently enrolled in CUNY.
Students must carry a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Students must have completed 60 credits.
Students must submit an OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT, resume, cover letter and two letters of recommendation.
Students intern 10-15 hours per week for a full semester.
All majors may apply.
